Sharjah Human Resources Directorate (SHRD), represented by “Waffer” loyalty and discounts programme , has recently announced the issuance of Waffer card for retirees who have Sharjah’s family book.
Dr. Tariq Sultan bin Khadem, Member of the Sharjah Executive Council and Chairman of SHRD stated that in line with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Dr. Sultan bin Mohamed Al Qasimi, Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah, to provide services and facilities for Sharjah’s citizens, which translate the wise vision of Sharjah Ruler to support the social cohesion of the society, SHRD has expanded Waffer programme benefit’s outreach to include Sharjah’s retirees, and he affirmed that this issuance would attain a decent life for a larger segment of the Sharjah’s citizens.

Bin Khadem explained the proper way  to obtain the card through registering in the electronic link ,which had been announced via SHRD and Waffer card’s electronic platforms.

Bin Khadem proclaimed that this comes as part of strategic plan of SHRD to provide unique services to employees in the Emirate of Sharjah to include a larger number of beneficiaries accumulating a total number of them to 58,000. He further added that Waffer programme provides special discounts to the staff of the Government of Sharjah, which includes 650 companies and 29 different commercial activities.
